Slate & Copper

Much of the slate and copper work found on buildings in New England, while expertly installed "the old fashioned way," requires replacement at some time.  The expansion and contraction of solder joints, acid rain, snow slides, lightning strikes, and falling ice all contribute to the wear and tear of slates and metal work.

I replace bell deck coverings, entablatures, hip flashing, valleys, and snow guard systems using the finest materials available.  All slate repairs are made with matching slates (both in size and color) and incorporate a unique fastening system that is watertight and permanent.
